  • Fixed a bug in that allowed “Redemption for the Lost” to be completed without finishing all of the quest objectives.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented allies summoned by Tengu Support Flares and Imperial Guard Reinforcement Orders from appearing in the party window.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Phoenix’s Retribution staff to be missing an inscription.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the guild owner of the Altrumm Ruins outpost to be displayed in “Finding Jinnai.”
  • Fixed a bug in that spawned the player facing a wall when entering Kinya Province.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented pandas from growing in size after evolving.

  The story of the Yuudachi family has long been intertwined with that of Cantha. Miku seeks to close a mysterious and troubling chapter in both by confronting Reiko, the founder of the Ministry of Purity, and reconciling with her long lost brother, Ashu. Meet with Miku in the Shenzun Tunnels to join in her quest.

  • Armor of Frost: reduced recharge to 20 seconds; added the following functionality: "You have +1 Water Magic." Removed "Ends if you use Fire Magic."
  • Blinding Surge: added the following functionality: "This spell has 25% armor penetration. If this spell strikes an attacking foe, all adjacent foes are also struck and this spell deals 50% more damage."
  • Celestial Storm: improved description.
  • Chain Lightning: now always causes 5 Exhaustion instead of conditionally causing 10 Exhaustion.
  • Churning Earth: reduced casting time to 2 seconds.
  • Double Dragon: increased casting time to 1 second; increased cost to 10 Energy; increased recharge to 20 seconds; changed functionality to: "Invoke the power of the Dragon. For 8 seconds, you and target ally are enchanted with Double Dragon. Adjacent foes are dealt 5...30 fire damage each second. Additionally, when you or your ally use skills that target a foe, that foe is set on fire for 0...3 seconds."
  • Elemental Attunement: rescaled duration to 25...60 seconds; reduced recharge to 20 seconds; added the following functionality: "You are attuned to Air, Fire, Water, and Earth and gain +1...2 to these attributes."
  • Energy Blast: reduced casting time to 1.5 seconds.
  • Energy Boon: changed skill type to enchantment spell; increased casting time to 1 second; increased cost to 10 Energy; reduced recharge to 20 seconds; changed functionality to: "For 36...60 seconds, Energy Boon raises the maximum Health of you and target ally by 1...3 for each point of your respective maximum Energy.   Halloween is coming to Tyria, so prepare for 13 days of mischief and mayhem, courtesy of Mad King Thorn and his Lunatic Court! The Halloween festival starts on Thursday, October 20, at noon Pacific daylight time (-7 GMT) and runs until 12:01 a.m. on November 2. This year we’re offering two spooky new costumes: the Vale Wraith and Ravenheart Witchwear. As always, Mad King Thorn himself will make a series of appearances on October 31! Be there—but beware! Pink Day in LA is an in-game charity event in Guild Wars created to support the Canadian Cancer Society’s research for a cure for breast cancer.   • Guild Wars Guru is hosting the 2011 GvG Championship Series tournament, sponsored by NVidia, Logitech, Rude Gameware, and Bigfoot! There are four divisions in which to participate, and alongside the tournament, Guild Wars Guru will schedule GvG workshops for new players, as well as creating a mentorship program for the Casual Division. If you've ever been interested in playing GvG, this is a great opportunity to learn from veteran players. The Bronze and Casual Divisions will compete on April 9, and the Gold and Silver Divisions will battle on April 16. The tournament is open to everyone in the Guild Wars community.   • The Archivists' Sanctum [Lore], led by Konig Des Todes, with help from GuildMag and GW-EN invites you to MantleCon! With nearly 6200 images, it’s a comprehensive series of galleries depicting locations in Tyria, Cantha, and Elona.   • Having trouble collecting Nicholas the Traveler gifts each week? Trey has created tutorials on YouTube as a way to help his fellow players, particularly those newer players who may not know the best spots to collect trophies. Along with in-game footage, each video has a webcam feed of Trey explaining where the prime hunting spots are, how to get there, and what to look for. The YouTube Channel is updated every Monday, so go check it out!
  • The Year of the Rabbit is upon us! Gaming World Entertainment Network, Crossing Tyria, and GuildMag, [TIG] Alliance, [DRGN] Alliance, [SPG] Alliance, and [ANKH] Alliance bring you "Getting Lucky 2011!" It will be taking place on October 16 from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM MST (GMT -6) in the Lion's Arch International Districts. They've got tons of prizes and fun activities planned.         • Countess Reapera, Konig Des Todes, and Katherine the Blood are hosting the Tyrian Ghost Walk! This event travels to locations throughout Tyria, where participants will hear Guild Wars ghost stories, written from the perspective of actual in-game encounters with these ghosts. As part of the fun, the organizers are asking for submissions from the community for short works of fiction that describe how a ghost originated and how the ghost manifests itself based on an in-game location. Entries are due by October 1^st. See the event page for more information and an example story that illustrates what they're looking for!
        • The Next Top Runner from the Electric Celerity guild is hosting a series of races for runners that will test not only speed, but also knowledge and ingenuity.         • The French Guild Wars fansite Luna Atra has a new look as well as some interesting new database tools. Check out the skins of green weapons and where to get them, take a look at the armor models, and locate the bosses directly on maps!
